Good morning, lovely friends!
I hope you are all feeling the Friday love today. I am particularly excited for the upcoming weekend because my amazing parents are currently en route to SF, and boy oh boy do I have some fun schtuff planned.
I didn't have a ton of time to devote to my favorite morning pastime (perusing blogs with a cup of coffee) this week, but a few little gems did manage to catch my eye.
1. Check out this amazing list of all things ethical (and unethical) fashion. Sheri of Confessions of a Refashionista did a phenomenal job on this one. Seriously. It's a big ol' bucket of goodness. You'd be remiss to not give it a gander.
2. Blogger friend Andrea really nails it with her mention of Slow Fashion October in this post. I too have been considering the longevity of the clothes currently hanging in my closet, while simultaneously enduring the pang of fall fashion lust. Thoughts thoughts thoughts.
3. This incredibly thoughtful post about how to raise race-conscious children, including some wonderful looking children's books. Obviously I am not a mom, but Joanna and her contributors' words struck a chord nonetheless. These conversations are so important to have, and the era of colorblindness has got to go. Check it out.
4. This Sparkling Fig and Honey cocktail - which I plan to have waiting for my parents upon their arrival if I can get my ish together. Sounds positively delightful, no?
